Bridging Studies

FOCUS has a dedicated and experienced Japanese team (physicians, nurses, recruitment coordinators) to successfully manage and perform Ph I studies with healthy Japanese volunteers, i.e. “bridging studies”.

• FOCUS has conducted 27 Phase I Studies in Japanese volunteers to date in numerous indications.
• All bridging studies were successfully completed at our Ph I unit in Neuss/ Duesseldorf, where we recruit both Caucasian and Japanese healthy volunteers.
• Data from three of our studies have already been accepted by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW), and therefore have saved the sponsors precious development time and money.
